Reflecting on My Participation at the CBRN-E Research & Innovation Day

I had the privilege of presenting our project at the CBRN-E Research & Innovation Day on March 21, 2024, in Strasbourg, an event that stands out as a cornerstone for professionals in the field of CBRN threat detection, monitoring, and decontamination.

During the 11:00 – 12:30 session, Panel 2: “Technologies for 1st and 2nd responders”, I explored the complexities of radiation detection, highlighting the advancements achieved through the EU-RADION and CHIMERA projects. It was an enriching experience to engage with a panel of experts and an audience keen on advancing technologies for first and second responders.

Moderated by Jon Hall from CMINE – Cluster Initiative, the discussion was not only insightful but also a testament to the collaborative spirit that drives our field forward. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share our work and to contribute to a dialogue that shapes our collective response to CBRN threats.

A special thanks to Philippe Quevauviller from the European Commission, DG HOME, for moderating the event and to all the attendees and fellow speakers who made this day a valuable gathering of minds and ideas.
