In recent months, intensive work has been carried out on the construction of the first UGV platforms. The work has focused on testing the mechanical and electrical connections. The first tests were carried out. As part of the UGV platform, the first tests of wireless mesh communication have been performed. We have tested the two-way communication to multiple radio nodes at once. The first tests have been successful and we were able to get the state of said nodes. Due to the construction of an innovative solution, work on the UGV also included the custom PCB design. We have designed several boards needed for the system to work properly on the unit. In addition, appropriate modules and sensors have been prepared that will enable the UGV to work autonomously. The first scan of the depth camera has been performed.
